The Indian Army was formed after India attained independence in 1947, and it inherited much of the British Indian Army’s infrastructure in post-partition India. It is a voluntary duty, and although the Indian constitution allows for military conscription, it has never been implemented.
The Army has fought four wars since independence, three with Pakistan and one with the People’s Republic of China. Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot, and Operation Cactus are some of the Army’s other notable operations. The successful Surgical Strike against Uri Sector on September 28/29, 2016 was a huge accomplishment. Aside from hostilities, the Army has also participated in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

The Indian Navy is the world’s fifth biggest. It was crucial in India’s triumph over Pakistan in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
The navy’s principal goal is to safeguard India’s maritime boundaries, but it also employs joint drills, port visits, and humanitarian missions, like as disaster assistance, to improve its international ties in Defence Academy Alwar.
The Indian Navy has undertaken significant modernization in recent years to replace its out-of-date equipment, which is generally considered as part of “India’s effort” to acquire blue-water capabilities and strengthen its position in the Indian Ocean area.

Air Force of India
The Indian Aviation Force (IAF) is the air component of the Indian Armed Forces. It is the world’s fourth-largest air force in terms of people and aircraft assets. Its principal objective is to protect Indian airspace and perform aerial combat during times of armed conflict.
It was founded on October 8, 1932, as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire, with the prefix Royal honouring India’s aviation contribution during World War II.
The designation Royal Indian Air Force was preserved and operated under the name of Indian union after India obtained independence from the United Kingdom in 1947. The prefix Royal was dropped when the country became a Republic in 1950. The Defence Academy Alwar Coaching stable in 2015.
